Why am I not moving on to the next level? Why am I still here despite working my tail off? This is what I asked myself. I then realized I needed to let go, to walk my own path. Although we all look up to heroes and people we admire, we must never forget that we also have a journey to travel. We all strive to achieve our goals. Yours is yours. Today, let me share how I got myself untrapped from the fear and despair a few years ago.
“See your life from a place of love and abundance, well-being, strength, and courage. Then, give yourself the chance to go out and turn the chapter, the page in your life, to hit this new chapter. This year is your time to shine. This is where you’re going to crush it. Opportunities will flow like a river, and you’ll be wise and smart. You’ll be on your way.”

Why do you have to listen to today’s episode.
00:31 – The first two and a half years of doing my business were a depressing phase for me. I was so frustrated until I realized that I was going through gestation. I was humbled.
04:40 –
'Heroes' have been a source of inspiration for many of us, but
should we always remember that we have a unique journey as we grow?
Take your own path. Make your dreams come
true.
13:37 –
Putting my marriage and my wife above all else was a valuable
lesson I learned recently. Growing requires healthy boundaries. Be
brave enough to let go.
20:17
–
Get in the habit of being grateful for whatever you have. Your
beliefs determine your reality. View the world through the lens of
love and abundance.
Key Takeaways
“There’s a lot that needs to be worked out and a lot of lessons you need to learn, and sometimes, dealing with hundreds and hundreds of customers and learning how to be a professional service provider is all very therapeutic. It’s personal development. So if you find yourself out there this year, if you get frustrated that things aren’t happening fast enough for you, sometimes, that’s just part of the process.”
“When we’re in periods of our lives that we want to be successful so bad, you will tend to take advice from other people that seem confident, or it looks like they’ve made it farther than you have, and you’ll take your advice. That’s a very powerful thing, and it’s something to be grateful for, but also, be careful because you have your own unique path. So take the good advice from other people, take what’s useful, and then move on with your life. Don’t take every word they say as a law because you could do everything exactly the way someone else does it, and you might not get the same results because that path was proprietary and unique to them.”
“One of the scariest things to do is to let go of your old heroes. Some of your heroes you might have even passed. Let go and trust yourself. Take that shovel and start carving out your own path in life. Put on your back, work boots, and freefall into infinity, and stop being afraid. The only way you’re going to get to the next step is you’re going to have to let go of old ideas, old identities, which means you’re going to have to upgrade your identity, take a deep breath and let go, install healthy boundaries, and have difficult conversations with people around you.”
“Whatever you do, I want you to celebrate your accomplishments and look at how far you’ve come because if you don’t celebrate your accomplishments and you’re always looking at f*ckers on social media that are bragging about all the things that they’re doing, you might discount your own hard work and say ‘Well, I don’t have what that guy has yet, so my accomplishments suck.’ So it’s very important to look at yourself, be your own boss, and see how far you’ve come in life.”
